The theatre allows those who know its secrets to enter the various backdrops during the 12 days of Christmas. Uncle Nathan goes missing in very strange circumstances, then determined efforts are made to try to steal the theatre by two mysterious people. Can Uncle Nathan be trapped inside it?

With her friends Nostros the dragon and Berrylina the bear, Katie has lots of adventures, thrills and frights as she battles with pirates, evil knights and some exceedingly silly animals, to thwart those who want to control the theatre for their own wicked purposes. But time is running out and she must effect the rescue before the last of the 12 days, or Uncle Nathan will be trapped until the next Christmas brings the magic toy theatre back to life.
