The Jigsaw: An Eppi Scopali Novel

Dwarves, goblins, wizards and homicidal megalomaniacs. The normal run of the mill residents that should make Eppi Scopali a pretty ordinary city of the outlands. Except for three things. The Great Staircase which enables inlanders and outlanders to traverse all the ages of the earth. Queen Zegga. And the fabled bridge of Dromond constructed from Elephants, some of them varnished – don’t ask.

Thrown into the mayhem is Tom Ellis, who buys a jigsaw piece that becomes the most important thing in all the many ages of the world. Tom has another claim to fame. He lives just before the end of time. Just as everyone reading this book does.

Magic, humour, satire and the insanity of a Federation remarkably similar to our own dear European Union, make for an action packed story as Tom and his companions help (help!) in the struggle to prevent the end of time. Or at least make it as far as the Gathering, where the world’s largest game of Zwaibichi - a fiendishly addictive card game - is soon to take place

The first part of a trilogy. Or a fourology. Who knows?

Readership age group: teenage and adult
